Please read the following media credential regulations. You must agree to adhere to the credential regulations in full to submit your application.

VIOLATIONS WILL RESULT IN CREDENTIALS BEING REVOKED.

Credential Policy

This credential is issued as a courtesy to an accredited agency (the “Agency”) for the sole purpose of providing stadium or venue access to an individual representative of the Agency (the “Representative”) who has a legitimate working or participating function in connection with the event for which this credential is issued (the “Event”). Any unauthorized use of this credential or violation of its terms subjects the Representative to ejection from the Event stadium or venue(s) and revocation of the credential. This credential is non-transferable and may be revoked at any time without cause.

This credential authorizes the use by the Agency, solely for news and editorial coverage of the Event, of any descriptions, accounts, photographs, films, audio or video recordings or drawings of the Event. Any other use or attempted use by the Representative or the Agency is expressly prohibited, unless the Agency has obtained the advance written permission of the Big 12 Conference for such other use. The Representative shall not use more than two (2) minutes of video highlights from the Event, and such usage shall be limited to a regularly scheduled television newscast aired by the Agency within a 48-hour period following the Event.

The Representative assumes all risk of harm while covering this Event. The Agency and the Representative agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Big 12 Conference from and against any and all claims arising out of any acts or omissions of the Representative.

Acceptance of this credential constitutes agreement by the Representative and the Agency to abide by the foregoing conditions.

Additional Policies

Media Outlets

Priority for all sports is given to professional media outlets that cover Cincinnati Athletics on an active, consistent and comprehensive basis. Authorized outlets are established, legitimate journalistic endeavors with a proven history of comprehensive coverage and original content — not aggregated. Strong consideration is also given to established national and regional media outlets.

NIL Partnerships

For any organizations that have NIL partnerships with active student-athletes, such partnerships do not—on their own—qualify an outlet for credential approval.

Photography

Photo and video passes will be given for media purposes only. The selling of images or using images in advertisements is strictly prohibited.

Important Compliance Note

By agreeing to the University of Cincinnati Basketball Credential Policy, the recipient acknowledges you may NOT provide your credential(s) to any prospective student-athlete (students ninth-grade and up), any individual associated with a prospective student-athlete, any enrolled student-athletes, any individual associated with an enrolled student-athlete or any Cincinnati Athletics volunteer coaches.
